Sleazy Queenz Spinoff Ep 1 - SAVAGE STREETS

CoVid might be keeping us all apart but Screaming Queenz have got a filthy little treat to tide you over. Last year we recorded what was to be the first in a series of spin off shows looking at exploitation film through a queer filter. Joined by Andy Roberts of Nasty Pasty Podcast, we recorded the first episode of SLEAZY QUEENZ looking at the notorious 80s rape-revenge Linda Blair classic, ‘Savage Streets’. We were planning to record more, joined by our friend Chris Brown of Video Nasties Podcast, but as luck would have it a pandemic got in the way! So we’re releasing this episode as a taster of things to come, and to keep our gorgeous Screaming Queenz listeners laughing through dark times!

Savage Streets is infamous for its heavy-handed approach to rape and revenge – and our response is no different. It’s dark shit but we deal with it with laughter and campness so don’t take us too seriously.
