Screaming Queenz Ep 48 - The Bad Seed

In our latest trawl through the camp end of horror we’re looking at The Bad Seed (1956). Patty McCormack plays pigtailed sociopath Rhoda Penmark, the perfect little girl who will do anything to get what she wants. Whilst showering her parents with a ‘basket of kisses’ she’s also murdering anyone who gets in her way. Almost impossibly camp and yet imbued with heart and terrific performances, The Bad Seed has to be seen to be believed, with a controversial ending that packs a mighty punch. Spoilers ahoy.
